Space It Up! participated in the 2025 edition of the CEAS–AIDAA international conference, held in Turin at Lingotto Congress Center from 1 to 4 December. For four days, Turin became a major European hub for the aerospace sector, hosting more than 500 presentations covering a broad range of topics: aerostructures, aerodynamics, space missions, propulsion, maintenance and damage detection, among many others.
A significant contribution came from the researchers involved in the Space It Up! project, who presented approximately 30 scientific works. Their participation highlighted the project’s strong scientific output and its active role within the international research community.
The conference also featured a series of keynote speeches delivered by leading figures from both academia and industry. Among them, Prof. Antonio Moccia dedicated a plenary session to presenting Space It Up!, illustrating the project’s vision, objectives and current developments. The slides of Prof. Moccia’s plenary talk are available here.
Throughout the event, Space It Up! was also represented with its own booth, which served as a central meeting point for researchers, companies and stakeholders interested in the project’s activities. The exhibition area facilitated extensive engagement with several Italian and European universities, as well as with representatives of space agencies and international institutions. These interactions provided an opportunity to present the scientific and technological goals of Space It Up!, gather qualified feedback and initiate discussions on potential collaborations, particularly in relation to upcoming ESA calls and other research initiatives.
The booth therefore acted as a catalyst for new connections and as an effective showcase to strengthen the project’s visibility and position within the broader aerospace community.
