Industrial Committee
The Industrial Committee provides strategic guidance on industrial priorities and ensures that the consortium’s activities remain aligned with the needs of the Italian and international space industry. It supports the identification of market opportunities, contributes to the definition of technological roadmaps, and strengthens the connection between research outputs and real industrial applications. It is composed by the following members:

The Board of Directors provides strategic guidance and oversees the correct governance of Space It Up, ensuring that the consortium’s activities remain aligned with its mission and long-term objectives. It is composed of a President, a Vice President, and three Board Members:

Scientific and Didactic Committee
The Scientific and Didactic Committee ensures the scientific excellence and technological robustness of the consortium’s activities. It evaluates research directions, supports the definition of methodologies and standards, and provides expert guidance to maintain high-quality outputs across all work packages. By fostering coherence among disciplines and promoting innovation, it helps steer the consortium toward impactful and reliable results. The committee is composed of one representative from each partner, ensuring that all competencies within the consortium are actively involved in steering scientific and technological decisions.

The Board of Advisors supports Space It Up by overseeing ethical, administrative and accounting matters. It ensures transparency, compliance with current regulations and the proper functioning of the company’s governance structure. The Board provides expert guidance on internal procedures, monitors financial integrity and contributes to strengthening the organisation’s reliability.

Steering committee
The Steering Committee oversees the administrative management of the consortium, ensuring efficient coordination and compliance across a project that spans numerous partners and interconnected activities. Given the scale and transversal nature of Space It Up, this committee plays a central role in harmonizing procedures, monitoring reporting obligations, and supporting financial and administrative alignment. It operates through close collaboration between the central administrative office and the administrative teams of each partner, facilitating consistent practices, timely documentation, and smooth project execution.
Steering committee
The Steering Committee oversees the administrative management of the consortium, ensuring efficient coordination and compliance across a project that spans numerous partners and interconnected activities. Given the scale and transversal nature of Space It Up, this committee plays a central role in harmonizing procedures, monitoring reporting obligations, and supporting financial and administrative alignment. It operates through close collaboration between the central administrative office and the administrative teams of each partner, facilitating consistent practices, timely documentation, and smooth project execution.
hub
The HUB is the administrative and managerial department of the consortium. It carries out multidisciplinary and cross-cutting activities that support both the coordination of ongoing projects and the promotion of the consortium’s initiatives. Its main responsibilities include:
Scientific and managerial coordination of projects: ensuring alignment among partners, monitoring project progress, and maintaining consistency with technical, scientific, and administrative objectives.
Methodological and technical support to partners: providing guidelines, operational tools, and supervision to facilitate the integration of the consortium’s diverse competencies.
Quality assurance and deliverable management: ensuring that documents and outputs meet funding agency requirements, internal standards, and planned timelines.
IPR management and internal governance: coordinating activities related to intellectual property, access rights, and the valorization of project results.
Communication and dissemination: promoting the activities of the SCARL, supporting the dissemination of project outcomes, and managing relationships with external stakeholders, institutions, and the scientific community.
Development of new initiatives and project opportunities: identifying emerging opportunities, supporting the formulation of new project concepts, and fostering strategic collaborations.
Through these activities, the HUB strengthens the identity of the SCARL, facilitates collaboration among partners, and supports the growth of the consortium’s scientific and technological capabilities. The HUB is composed by two offices:
