Space it up! Days
Space it Up! Days will take place in Firenze from 26 to 28 January 2026. The event represents the first plenary congress of the Space it Up! project, bringing together project partners and the broader scientific community.
The Space it Up! project is funded by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR), and is dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the field of space sciences.
The congress will be held at the Polo delle Scienze Sociali of the University of Florence, located in the Novoli district, in the northern part of the city. The Space it Up! Days will serve as a key initiative for presenting project activities and results, strengthening collaboration among institutions, and positioning Italian space sciences within the international research community by outlining future scientific directions and strategic perspectives at a global level.

Each Spoke may submit up to 17 posters, showcasing key research activities, results, and ongoing developments within the Space It Up! project.
Program
The Space it Up! Days will be articulated over three consecutive days, each designed to address specific objectives within the overall framework of the project.
The first day will be devoted to plenary presentations. These contributions will offer a shared framework for discussion, enabling all participants to engage with the overarching strategic vision of Space it Up!
The second day will be structured around thematic roundtables, specifically dedicated to in-depth discussion of topics of strategic relevance to the project. These discussions will promote interdisciplinary exchange and constructive dialogue among the partners, with the aim of strengthening synergies, aligning methodologies, and identifying opportunities for shared research activities across the different Spokes and Work Packages.
Throughout the overall duration of the first two days, posters illustrating the results achieved within the project will be displayed. Particular emphasis will be placed on contributions by early-career researchers and young scientists involved in Space it Up!. Each Spoke may contribute up to 17 posters, ensuring broad and balanced representation of the scientific activities and outcomes across the consortium.
The third and final day will be dedicated to the conclusion of the works and to internal coordination activities. This phase will be reserved exclusively for Spoke Leaders, Co-Leaders, Work Package Leaders, and Task Leaders, and will focus on consolidating results, assessing progress, and defining future directions and operational strategies for the subsequent phases of the project.

Step 2 – After submitting the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email containing the link to access the page with detailed payment instructions.
Step 3 – Finalise your registration by completing the payment of €150, which covers the event registration as well as catering services, including coffee breaks and lunch.
Step 4 – Send the payment receipt by email to: siu.events@spaceitup.it; specifying the name, surname, and affiliation of all participants included in the payment.
